{"id":4514,"date":"2022-03-06T22:16:48","date_gmt":"2022-03-06T20:16:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/filosofieromaneasca.institutuldefilosofie.ro\/sifr\/?page_id=4514"},"modified":"2023-05-21T19:31:39","modified_gmt":"2023-05-21T17:31:39","slug":"for-authors","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/filosofieromaneasca.institutuldefilosofie.ro\/sifr\/for-authors\/","title":{"rendered":"For authors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"guidelines-for-authors\">Guidelines for authors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><i class=\"fas fa-check\"><\/i><strong> Studies on the History of Romanian Philosophy <\/strong>does not charge authors for processing, reviewing and publishing their papers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-4-background-color has-background\" id=\"basic-requirements\">Basic requirements<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Submission implies that the manuscript:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>represents the original work of the author; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>has not been already published;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>is not currently taken into consideration by another publication.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In case the manuscript contains chapters, tables or any other kind of material that was previously published by the author, the fact should be mentioned and properly referenced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-4-background-color has-background\" id=\"formatting-requirements\">Formatting requirements<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The manuscript must be presented as a .doc or .docx Microsoft Word file. A PDF copy is also required if the manuscript contains graphic material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The text must be structured as following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Article&#8217;s title;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Author&#8217;s name;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Author&#8217;s affiliation(s). If the author is a postgraduate student, this will be specified;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Article&#8217;s title in English;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Abstract in English (up to 200 words);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keywords in English;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manuscript body (introduction, discussion, conclusions);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>References.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The submitted manuscript must follow the publication&#8217;s citation style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-ffd3851c-c1fa-4d7a-a0ad-47375d30d20d\" href=\"https:\/\/filosofieromaneasca.institutuldefilosofie.ro\/sifr\/wp-content\/uploads\/SIFR-Referencing-style.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Download SIFR citation guidelines<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-4-background-color has-background\" id=\"first-time-submission\">First-time submission<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>First-time submitters are asked to include in the message a very short description of their academic activity and a list of maximum 5 relevant titles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-4-background-color has-background\" id=\"the-evaluation-process\">The evaluation process<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>After a preliminary assessment conducted by editors, the submitted manuscript is reviewed by a scientific editor and an external specialist in the field. See <a href=\"https:\/\/filosofieromaneasca.institutuldefilosofie.ro\/sifr\/evaluation-process\/\">Evaluation process<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-4-background-color has-background\" id=\"good-academic-practice\">Good academic practice<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to submission, the author must ensure that the manuscript complies with the provisions of the <a href=\"https:\/\/legislatie.just.ro\/Public\/DetaliiDocument\/52457\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Law no. 206 \/ 2004<\/a> on Good academic practice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Studies on the History of Romanian Philosophy<\/strong> follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/publicationethics.org\/resources\/guidelines\/text-recycling-guidelines-editors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">COPE&#8217;s Text recycling guidelines for editors<\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/publicationethics.org\/retraction-guidelines\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">COPE&#8217;s Retraction guidelines<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-4-background-color has-background\" id=\"oa-license-by\">OA license <em>by<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Studies on the History of Romanian Philosophy<\/strong> is an open access publication with a <em>by <\/em>license. The articles can be freely red, downloaded and used in accordance with the Law, on the condition that the author is credited and a link to the article&#8217;s page is provided.
