Nota editorilor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Sec\u021biunea care urmeaz\u0103 cuprinde studii \u0219i articole care au la baz\u0103 comunic\u0103ri sus\u021bi\u00adnute la colocviul na\u021bional \u201eIon Petrovici \u2013 50\u201d, organizat de Institutul de Filosofie \u0219i Psiho\u00adlogie \u201eC. R\u0103dulescu-Motru\u201d al Academiei Rom\u00e2ne la data de 10 iunie 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Licen\u021biat \u00een Drept (1903) \u0219i \u00een Filosofie (1904), Ion Petrovici a ob\u021binut \u00een 1905 la Facultatea de Filosofie \u0219i Litere din Bucure\u0219ti, primul titlu de doctor \u00een filosofie acordat de o universitate din Rom\u00e2nia, cu teza <em>Paralelismul psiho-fizic<\/em>. Dup\u0103 sus\u021binerea tezei, a urmat o preg\u0103tire postdoctoral\u0103 la Leipzig \u0219i la Berlin (1905\u20131906), audiind cursurile lui Wundt, Volkelt, Dilthey, Riehl, Paulsen \u0219.a. Sprijinit de profesorii Titu Maiorescu \u0219i C. R\u0103dulescu-Motru, Petrovici a avut o lung\u0103 carier\u0103 didactic\u0103 la Universitatea din Ia\u0219i (1906\u20131940), unde a ob\u021binut docen\u021ba (1908) \u0219i gradul de profesor titular (1912). \u00centre 1940 \u0219i 1944, \u00eentr-o perioad\u0103 dificil\u0103, a fost profesor la Universitatea din Bucure\u0219ti, \u00eenainte de a fi \u00eenl\u0103turat din via\u021ba public\u0103, arestat \u0219i \u00eenchis pe considerente politice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A predat de-a lungul timpului <em>Filosofie general\u0103<\/em> (<em>Epistemologie<\/em> \u0219i <em>Metafizic\u0103<\/em>), <em>Logic\u0103<\/em> \u0219i <em>Istoria filosofiei moderne<\/em>. Preocup\u0103rile de filosofie general\u0103 au fost publicate sub titlurile <em>Cercet\u0103ri filosofice<\/em> (1907) \u0219i <em>Noi cercet\u0103ri filosofice<\/em> (1911), iar studiile \u0219i eseurile de logic\u0103 au constituit cuprinsul volumelor <em>Teoria no\u021biunilor<\/em> (1910; 1924) \u0219i<em> Probleme de logic\u0103<\/em> (1911; 1924). Contribu\u021biile sale \u00een logic\u0103 includ, printre altele, inova\u021bii asupra raportului dintre sfer\u0103 \u0219i con\u021binut, pro\u00adpunerea unei noi metode inductive (pe care a numit-o metoda distinc\u021biei speciilor cauzale) \u0219i dezvolt\u0103ri privind metoda analogiei, judec\u0103\u021bile problematice \u0219i singulare, polisilogismele. Articolele de metafizic\u0103 au fost grupate \u00een volumul <em>Introducere \u00een metafizic\u0103<\/em> (1924), unde Petrovici, preocupat cu justificarea epistemologic\u0103 \u0219i existen\u021bial\u0103 a metafizicii, este inte\u00adre\u00adsat nu doar de <em>metod\u0103<\/em>, ci \u0219i de<em> practic\u0103<\/em> (numind, cu acest prilej, religia \u201epractica meta\u00adfi\u00adzicii\u201d). Prelegerile sale de istorie a filosofiei \u2013 dep\u0103\u0219ind cadrul culegerilor de <em>Studii isto\u00adrico-filosofice<\/em> (1925; 1929) \u2013 s-au transformat \u00een adev\u0103rate monografii: <em>Via\u021ba \u0219i opera lui Kant<\/em> (1936) \u0219i <em>Schopenhauer<\/em> (1937). Contribu\u021bia \u00een istoria filosofiei a fost omagiat\u0103 de ele\u00advii s\u0103i prin publicarea a cinci volume colective intitulate <em>Istoria filosofiei moderne. Omagiu profesorului Ion Petrovici<\/em> (1937\u20131941). Profesorul s-a f\u0103cut cunoscut \u0219i dincolo de catedr\u0103, printr-o serie de comunic\u0103ri \u0219i conferin\u021be; unele dintre ele \u2013 precum: <em>La nationalit\u00e9 en phi\u00adlo\u00adsophie<\/em>, <em>Le dynamisme philosophique<\/em>,<em> L\u2019id\u00e9e de neant<\/em>, <em>Le r\u00e9alisme, tendance de la philo\u00adsophie actuelle<\/em>, <em>La connaissance humaine et le transcendent<\/em>, <em>Essai sur le bon sens<\/em>, <em>L\u2019id\u00e9e de Dieu devant la raison <\/em>\u2013 au fost sus\u021binute, publicate \u0219i apreciate \u0219i peste hotare (Viena, Paris, Bruxelles, Geneva, Praga).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a id=\"post-7598-_30j0zll\"><\/a> Ion Petrovici a fost ales membru al Academiei Rom\u00e2ne (1934; vicepre\u0219edinte, \u00een 1938), membru al Academiei din M\u00fcnchen (1938), precum \u0219i <em>doctor honoris causa<\/em> al Univer\u00adsit\u0103\u021bii din Alger (1939).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">Colectivul editorial<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-default\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">[<em>Studii de istorie a filosofiei rom\u00e2ne\u015fti<\/em>, vol.
